2012 Seniors Info

Here are some tips to keep in mind for your Senior Portraits.

  • Get plenty of rest the night before your session.
  • Feel free to bring any props you would like to use.  If you play a sport (or sports) bring your uniform(s) along, and don't forget your shoes!  If you are in band, feel free to bring your instrument.  Try to include things that show your personality.  Incorporating hobbies are a great way to showcase your individuality.
  • Feel free to bring along a friend, cousins, or siblings.  We normally consider extra people in our Senior Sessions as props, so we don't charge extra to include them.
  • Wear clothes that, obviously, you look great in and that you are comfortable in.  Long gone are the days when everyone dressed in their "Sunday" clothes!  While we think it is a good idea to bring at least one "formal" outfit, most subjects dress very casual for their senior shots.  The more comfortable you are, the better you will look.
  • If you won't smile in front of your Mom, please don't bring her!  We have had people in the past that just couldn't seem to relax until we diverted Mom's attention and got them separated.  Of course, we don't want to cause problems either...we'll let you work it out!
  • If you want outdoor pictures, please don't wait until October to schedule your appointment!  The best time to get out and do outdoor pics is right now!
  • Let us know what you want to see before the session.  Communication is a key component to your happiness!  The more you share your expectations with us, the more you will love your images!
  • The biggest tip I can give to anyone getting their picture taken is to relax and HAVE FUN!  This is a fun time in your life, and we want to let that show through in your images.

If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask.  Although we don't require a pre-session consultation, we are more than happy to give one.
